Our Les Mielles Majors Competitions are the largest golfing event in the Channel Islands with over 1,200 players taking part overall. The Les Mielles Majors consist of six competitions, running from April - October each year, in which everyone is welcome to play, all you need is a golf club or society handicap to enter.
Scores will be collected and collated throughout the series of six competitions and a Top-Ten Shoot Out event will take place in October where the best players will compete for the winner's trophies.
Gents Strokeplay Competition: Hcp 0-18 off White Tees
Gents Stableford Competition: Hcp 19-28 off White Tees
Ladies Stableford Competition:Hcp 0-36 off Red Tees
Juniors welcome to play in Gents Strokeplay / Stableford or Ladies Stableford - dependent upon Handicap.
Where entrants hold both Official AND Society handicaps, their EGU/LGU handicap will be used.
Scoring will be done on a similar basis to Formula One. The top ten finishers from each of the above categories will score points, starting from twenty-five for a win. The sequence is then eighteen for second, then fifteen, twelve, ten, eight, six, four, two and finally one.
